Hello, I'm Stefan Gagne, and I'm a movie fan. (Hi, Stefan.) Multiplex Mangler is my attempt to satisfy several demands at once. First, I was bored and really wanted to try a new humor project on the web; my last one being done a few years ago (Spatula City). Second, I wanted to try using my groovy new DVD-ROM drive to make nice screenshots. So, I put those together, and... well, here you are. Now remember, like any humor on the web, this site can only survive by word of mouth, so if you find this stuff funny and/or useful, let a pal know about it and spread the good word. Much appreciated. On with the show.

All images are copyright their respective movie production companies. If you are the owner of a major movie studio and would like your particular movie removed from these pages, please let me know. Oh, and I may have a spec script for you.

Blade, directed by Stephen Norrington, produced by New Line Cinema.

Man oh man. Vampires and shotguns and lots and lots of black clothing. Gysers of blood, cool shades, useless gunfodder characters... Blade's got it all and a bag of chips. Mangle also includes information on the mysterious second ending!

Ninja Scroll, directed by Yoshisaki Kawajiri, released by Manga Video.

One boring political intrigue. Many gory deaths. Lots of ninja. And a new record for the sheer amount of totally useless enemies and allies. It's a recipe for wackiness! And it's got sex and blood in it! Check it out.

William Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann, released by 20th Century Fox.

WATCH as two star cross'd lovers screw their own lives up better than most soap opera writers could manage! WATCH as Willy spins in his grave! WATCH as Mercutio does a crossdressing diva disco dance! Dramamine suggested.

OTHER MOVIES SOON TO BE MANGLED (subject to change) :

  • Broken Arrow! With plot holes you can drive a mack truck through!
  • Dune! The spice must flow. The hallucinations must make no sense. The director must be a madman.
  • Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas! Love it or hate it, it's pretty freaky.
  • Mortal Kombat! The most subtle and well-orchestrated story of the year!
