Gryphon, griffin, griffon? However you choose to spell it, this eagle-lion hybrid monster is a staple of Dungeons and Dragons as well as other RPGs. At one point I was considering having a gryphon-based “taxi” service in my homebrew city, where you blow a whistle and this giant monster swoops down out of the sky to grab you in the street. Heh heh heh.
